Growing up on the east coast, Dave moved around quite a bit with his parents and two sisters. Everywhere he lived, whether it was Pittsburgh, Chicago, Jacksonville, or Winchester, VA, Dave loved every place he lived and missed it when he left. What made each and every place great were the friends he made and the schools he attended. Something about moving around and going to so many schools must have made an impression, because when he grew up, he became a teacher.
Dave still lives on the east coast, but now he has a wife and five kids of his own. He loves to read to his kids and make up stories to keep them entertained. Not every idea hits the mark. In fact, many do not. But sometimes the best creative journey is to make your kids groan and roll their eyes... and leave the room.... and that's when you know its time to self publish :)
